Campus Life

USU Magazine Online

The latest edition of Utah State Magazine is now available online and Managing Editor Jared Thayne encourages everyone to take a look at the current issue.

“As always, we’re excited to celebrate just some of the many stories, personalities and news tidbits that make Utah State University, its alumni and friends such an important part of our individual and collective lives,” Thayne said.

The current issues includes President Stan L. Albrecht’s thought-provoking message on economic recovery and the account (and bonus slideshow) of the inspiring efforts being made by the Carr brothers to save natural treasures and to enrich lives in Africa. Readers can take a minute to meet Gary Andersen, USU’s new head football coach, and then to honor the storied career (detailed through an interactive timeline) of Ray Corn in Aggie gymnastics.

“Or, if you just need to escape, see if you can keep up with Robert Winward and his students as they plunge headfirst into Swiss culture, customs and visual art to create ripples that will surely shape lifetimes,” Thayne said. “Whatever personal discoveries await you in this issue of Utah State Magazine, I’m confident you’ll be reminded that being an Aggie has always meant playing an active, meaningful part in our communities and on the world stage — and these days, we can all take a little pride in that.”
