Roth 403b Savings Program

Utah State University offers a new option to the existing workplace retirement savings plan beginning Monday, July 2. With the addition of the Roth 403(b), employees have another choice in how to save for retirement from USU.

A Roth 403(b) is an after-tax retirement vehicle. Taxes are paid on the money set aside now but, the growth and future withdrawals are tax free for qualified distributions.

AIG VALIC, Fidelity and TIAA-CREF will offer the Roth 403(b) option through USU’s payroll deduction. To enroll in the program, stop by the office of Human Resources between 7:30 a.m. and 5 p.m. Participation in the program is available at any time throughout the year. Participation is NOT limited to the open enrollment period for benefits.
