Plan Ahead — Another Road Closure
It’s the end of the semester at Utah State University and a number of student-focused events are planned. The celebrations do, however, impact vehicle and non-motorized travel on campus.
As part of USU’s End of Year Bash, “Aggie Fest” is Friday, April 29, and offers a number of activities. See the calendar listing online).
To accommodate the celebration, traffic accessing 700 North from the west will be diverted onto 800 East at 700 North. A portion of 700 North will be closed throughout the day and into the evening. The closure begins at 8 a.m.
Traffic can access 700 North from 1200 East, and can travel west to the Big Blue Terrace.
The culminating event features Seam Kingston live in concert. As a result, 700 North will be closed in front of the Fieldhouse, with the Big Blue Terrace and the B-lot remaining open but with access from the east only.
Aggie Shuttle and CVTD routes will be altered during the day. See the USU Parking and Transportation Services website for details and or the CVTD website.
USU’s office of Parking and Transportation Services asks everyone to plan the day accordingly while enjoying Aggie Fest 2011.
