'Inspire Me' Wellness Award
The Inspire Me Wellness Award, an award established to celebrate the ways individuals pursue and represent a healthy lifestyle, is coordinated by the Utah State University Wellness Program.
Each month, one employee (faculty or staff member) or student will be selected from the Inspire Menominations.
Anyone on campus can nominate an employee or student who models a healthy lifestyle, has made significant changes in health behaviors, motivates others to make health improvements or has implemented a policy to help create a positive wellness culture at Utah State University.
Nomination forms are available on the Wellness website.
September ‘Inspire Me’ Award — Be Well: Betty Rozum
Here’s what a friend and work associate said about Betty:
“Betty joined the USU @ Work Weight Watchers group in October of 2010. She has been a faithful and dedicated member ever since. Betty just recently lost more than 100 pounds. You may think that two years is a long time to lose 100 pounds, but actually, Betty did it the healthy way — slow and consistent. Betty has lots of helpful tips that she has learned along her journey and is always willing to share. She is a firm believer and supporter of the USU WW@Work program.”
On campus, Rozum is the associate dean for technical services for USU’s University Libraries.
To submit “Inspire Me!” Be Well nominations, contact Dayna Barrett, dayna.barrett@usu.edu, or download a nomination form from the website and follow the submission instructions.
