Important Benefit Information for USU Employees
The Office of Human Resources holds the kick-off meeting for the Employee Benefits Open Enrollment period Monday, April 28. The event gets underway at 11 a.m. in the Taggart Student Center Stevenson Ballroom, and everyone is encouraged to attend.
The session is offered to provide information, and attendees are encouraged to ask questions. Representatives from Blue Cross/Blue Shield, ASI Flex and USU’s Human Resources will be on hand. Information about USU’s employee wellness program will be available at an information table.
This year, USU is offering an additional medical plan option, the High Deductible Choice Plan. Learn more about the plan at the Benefits Open Enrollment Kick-Off meeting. Additional information will be posted on the HR Web site. Those enrolling in the plan must meet with a representative in the benefits area of Human Resources.
Open Enrollment allows employees to make changes or additions to medical plans, short term disability (with proof of insurability), increase life insurance (with proof of insurability) and to re-enroll in Flex Spending. All current policies automatically remain the same if no new action is taken, except Flex Spending, which requires enrollment annually.
