Honoring Pvt. Jordan P.P. Thibeault

Utah Gov. Jon M. Huntsman, Jr., has authorized the lowering of the national and state flags Monday, Sept. 15. The flags will be flown at half-staff at all state facilities from sunrise to sunset in honor of Pvt. Jordan P.P. Thibeault.

Pvt. Thibeault died Sept. 5, 2008, on Forward Operating Base Hammer, Iraq, in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom.

 

Private Thibeault was assigned to the Headquarters and Headquarters Company, 1st Battalion, 6th Infantry Regiment, 2nd Brigade Combat Team, 1st Armored Division, Baumholder, Germany.
