Aggie Shuttle Expands Routes

Utah State University Innovation Campus has combined forces with Parking and Transportation Services to create a link with the Aggie Shuttle system. An extended route now connects the two campuses.

Starting Monday, Nov. 10, the Aggie Shuttle 8th East Express will carry students, faculty and staff directly to the Innovation Campus. 

 

The completion of Grand Ave, 1600 North, has allowed the 8th East Express route to be extended, granting access to Innovation Campus. Traveling beyond the A.S.T.E. building, the bus will turn westbound on Grand Avenue and travel to 600 East. From there, the bus will travel north and stop at the designated bus stop on the west side of the road. Upon leaving Innovation Campus, the bus will connect with 1400 North and continue on 800 East to resume the normal 8th East Express route. 

 

The shuttle runs 8:30 a.m. through 4:30 p.m., Monday-Friday. 

 

Two buses currently service the 8th East Express, and one bus continues to complete this route. The other bus will turn around along Grand Avenue at 700 East, then resume its route along 800 East. Aggie Shuttle Routes can be viewed online.

 

 “This new expanded shuttle route will provide the highest service possible to our students and faculty at the Innovation Campus,” said Lisa Leishman, Parking and Transportation Services director. “We are thrilled to offer this new service. We invite all to experience the extended shuttle route and explore the Innovation Campus.”

 

The accessibility of the Innovation Campus through this enlarged route allows others to discover a part of Utah State University that is relatively new.
