About This Minor

The Environmental Planning minor at Utah State University aims to provide students with a strong professional education in the core principles of environmental planning.

This minor complements various majors by offering a planning component and helps students be more competitive in the job market.

What You Will Learn

Students will learn about environmental planning, sustainable development, GIS for environmental planning, and planning methods. Elective courses allow students to explore topics such as natural resource economics, environmental communication, environmental policy, city and regional planning, environmental ethics, and climate change.
