USU anthropologists are gaining rich insights into prehistoric life by analyzing chipped stone fragments from Colorado’s Chance Gulch site. The remnants reveal telling details of the lifestyle of the people who inhabited the area some 8,000 years ago. From the remains, scientists are learning about the inhabitants’ daily habits, what they ate and the challenges they faced.
