USU is home to the internationally known Center for Persons with Disabilities and Space Dynamics Laboratory. The CPD supports people with developmental disabilities with research focused on autism, attention-deficit hyperactivity disorder, dyslexia and early intervention. SDL's expertise in the development of sensors and calibration, as well as in small satellites and real-time intelligence, has made it an internationally known organization in the space arena.
