Utah State University First Lady Joyce Albrecht hosted a tea for the wives of international students at the President’s Home Thursday, Sept. 28. The tea and reception welcomed the spouses to Logan and introduced them to available community and university services. The event also offered an opportunity to establish relationships with each other and the First Lady.
Representatives from several community and university departments and programs attended the tea, including Community and University Friends of Foreign Students, Intensive English Language Institute, International Students and Scholars, International Student Council, Study Abroad and Extension International Programs. Andrea Coward, wife of Provost Raymond T. Coward, also attended and welcomed the guests.
The tea drew more than 50 participants, representing Japan, China, India, Poland, Ecuador, Brazil and Nepal. Many of those attending wore native dress.
