Windmills May Bring Windfall

USU researchers say a potential source of clean, renewable energy in Utah County may also be a source of cash for the local economy. A USU study of the proposed commercial wind farm in Spanish Fork Canyon reveals that the 18.9-megawatt windmill park could have a more positive economic impact on the county than traditional energy sources, such as coal and gas plants.
