Wild Winter Art Market to Return to Swaner Preserve & EcoCenter in December
The Wild Winter Art Market is back for its second year. The holiday market features local artists whose work highlight the beauty of the natural world. This celebration of creativity and community encourages guests to shop local items that help us to preserve, educate and nurture both people and the planet.
Vendor applications closed in late October, and 23 local artists were selected to participate. Each artist’s work reflects a connection to nature and inspires visitors to look more closely at the world around them.
Admission to the market is free, and each vendor will be donating a portion of their proceeds to Swaner Preserve & EcoCenter. Featured art will include ceramics, jewelry, photography, prints, textiles and more.
“The Wild Winter Art Market is such a fun way to bring the community together and celebrate creativity that’s rooted in nature,” said Bri Cencak, visitor experience coordinator. “It’s been
inspiring to see so many talented local artists come together in support of Swaner’s mission. The
market encourages visitors to shop with intention — to choose gifts that reflect care for both
people and the planet.”
