Utah State's Wright Flyer and Space Dynamics Laboratory Featured

As part of the NCAA March Madness, brought to Logan thanks to the Aggie basketball team, Utah State University was given a chance to grab a bit of the television spotlight through a tournament television package. In a 30-second commercial narrated by President Kermit L. Hall, viewers take to the skies and venture into outer space with Utah State.


The commercial, produced by the Office of Public Relations and Marketing and University Media Production, highlights the Utah State Wright Flyer project, showing footage of its first test flights on the Salt Flats. It also features the Space Dynamics Laboratory and its cutting-edge research for NASA.

The commercial will air three times during the NCAA Sweet Sixteen, March 27–28, as well as during KUTV's 10 p.m. news broadcasts March 24 and 25.
