Utah State Theatre Announces Auditions

Utah State Theatre on the campus of Utah State University announces its 2006-07 season open auditions. Auditions are Friday and Saturday, Sept. 8 and 9, and those interested in auditioning should meet in the Morgan Theatre of the Chase Fine Arts Center.

Community members and USU students are invited to audition. Participants must call (435) 797-3046 to reserve an audition time. Friday’s auditions begin at 4 p.m., with Saturday’s auditions starting at 9 a.m. Callbacks will be announced as applicable.

 

Participants in this season’s open audition process will vie for roles in four Utah State Theatre mainstage productions. These include Anna and the Tropics,  Moliere’s Tartuffe, the musical Chicago and the 2006 family production James and the Giant Peach.

 

Those interested in auditioning are not required to have prepared readings, but are encouraged to bring prepared monologues if possible. Script cuttings, general inquiries and audition slots are available by calling (435) 797-3046.
