Utah State Softball Holding Walk-On Tryouts for 2014-15 Roster

Utah State [University] softball will hold walk-on tryouts for the 2014-15 season Friday, Aug. 29. Tryouts will be held at LaRee and LeGrand Johnson Field starting at 4 p.m.

To be eligible to tryout, players must be full-time students. Prior to tryouts, interested student-athletes must contact head softball coach Steve Johnson at steven.johnson@usu.edu. Additionally, all candidates must have undergone and show proof of a physical within the past six months. Physicals are available at the Student Health & Wellness Center on the campus of Utah State, or at any other healthcare provider. The new student-athlete medical paperwork is available for download online.

The Aggies open the fall season hosting Salt Lake Community College Friday, Sept. 19. The first pitch is set for 5 p.m.
