Utah State Men's Basketball Announces Individual Summer Camp Dates
Utah State [University] men’s basketball head coach Tim Duryea has announced the dates for the 2015 Individual Summer Camps with the Boys Day Camp June 15-18 and the Position and Shooting Camp slated for June 22-24.
The Boys Day Camp will provide young players a chance to learn basic fundamentals and enjoy the excitement of competition. Campers will hone skills in ball handling, passing, shooting, rebounding and defensive techniques. Participants will also take part in activities such as free throw and hot-shot competitions, as well as one-on-one and team competitions. The Boys Day Camp will run from 8:30 a.m. to noon each day and is open to boys entering kindergarten to 9th grade.
The Position and Shooting Camp will provide campers the opportunity to improve their individual playing positions. Post players will work on their shooting, footwork, post moves and rebounding, while perimeter players will work on shooting, footwork, ball handling and passing. Other camp activities include free throw contests, lectures, three-on-three, one-one-one and team championships. The Position and Shooting Camp will also provide participants the option of staying on campus or commuting and is available to boys entering 5th through 12th grade.
