Utah State Magazine Receives Award

The Society for Technical Communication, Southwest Division, recently gave Utah State magazine its Award of Merit for 2004.

 

In announcing the award, the judges said, "Altogether, this magazine goes beyond the bounds of the usual college magazine and is an excellent representative of the university. This is an excellent magazine for getting the story of the university across to generations of graduates. The level of writing is as good as any national publication available on newsstands today."

 

Utah State magazine celebrates its 10th anniversary in February and will commemorate the occasion on Feb. 17 with an evening of student readings of student works published in the magazine.

 

 In addition to student stories, the magazine highlights stories of local, regional and international interest, and includes news of Utah State's successes, including its graduates.
