Utah State Gymnastics Announces 2017 Schedule
Fourth-year head coach Nadalie Walsh has released the 2017 schedule for Utah State’s gymnastics program. The Aggies’ slate features five home meets, including hosting the Mountain Rim Gymnastics Conference (MRGC) Championships.
The schedule features eight opponents that advanced to the NCAA Regional Championships a year ago. Two of those teams advanced to the NCAA Championships, where California placed seventh with a team score of 195.950, while Nebraska was one spot behind with a 195.775.
“We put this schedule together so we could travel to some of the areas of the country that we haven’t been for at least as long as I’ve been here,” Walsh said. “Getting to Arizona a couple of times and getting out to the east coast is going to be really good for the girls. All of our meets are competitions that we can walk in knowing that we can compete. I’m excited to have some Pac-12 meets and a Big Ten meet. We have a lot of returning experience and a lot of freshman talent.”
