Utah State Football to hold Ladies Clinic Tuesday, July 29

Utah State's [University] football coaching staff will host a clinic for women to learn football skills, techniques and the ins-and-outs of the game at Merlin Olsen Field at Romney Stadium Tuesday, July 29. This year’s clinic will be limited to the first 200 participants.

The clinic, which is sponsored by America First Credit Union, costs $12 with $10 of every registration fee donated to the Logan Regional Hospital Foundation. A check presentation will be made to the hospital at USU’s home game against UNLV Saturday, Oct. 25, which is USU’s Breast Cancer Awareness game.

Check-in and registration begins at 5:30 p.m. with the clinic starting at 6 p.m. The clinic is open to all women 14 years of age and older. All participants will receive a free t-shirt, Utah State women’s season sports pass ($75 value), goodie bag and entered into a raffle to win prizes.

Participants will also have the opportunity to meet and visit with the Aggie football coaching staff, along with selected players. Stations during the clinic include drills on the field, a film session and education on nutrition.

Participants should come dressed ready to be active and are encouraged to enter Merlin Olsen Field at Romney Stadium from the northwest gate.
