Utah State [University] football will have six more nationally televised games it was announced Tuesday [April 28, 2015] as the Mountain West released the remainder of its national television package for the 2015 season. To date, nine of Utah State’s 12 regular season games this coming fall are slated for national television.

The additional 33 Mountain West games announced will be aired by CBS Sports Network and ESPN exclusively on Saturdays. Between the two television networks, 44 MW football games thus far will be aired this coming season on various platforms.

Utah State’s six additional nationally televised contests will include three home games and three road games. Three of the matchups will appear on one of the ESPN Networks (ESPN, ESPN2, ESPNU), while the other three games will be televised by CBS Sports Network.

Utah State’s three games on CBS Sports Network include Mountain West road games at Fresno State Saturday, Oct. 10, at 8:30 p.m. (MT) and at New Mexico Saturday, Nov. 7, at 1:30 p.m., along with its home game against BYU Saturday, Nov. 28, at 1:30 p.m. to end the regular season.

All three of Utah State’s games that will be nationally televised on one of the ESPN Networks are Mountain West matchups, including its league opener at home against Colorado State Saturday, Oct. 3, along with a road game at Air Force Saturday, Nov. 14, and a home game against Nevada Saturday, Nov. 21.

Kickoff times and specific outlets for Utah State’s three ESPN games mentioned above will be determined during the course of the regular season (generally a 12-day window).

Utah State has three more Mountain West games that will be televised nationally as part of an 11-game Friday night package that was announced by the conference earlier this month. USU will host Boise State Friday, Oct. 16, on CBS Sports Network at 7 p.m., play at San Diego State Friday, Oct. 23, on ESPN2 at 8:30 p.m. (MT), and host Wyoming Friday, Oct. 30, on ESPN2 at 8:15 p.m.

Additional 2015 broadcasts by ROOT Sports and the Mountain West Network powered by Campus Insiders will be announced in the coming weeks.

Utah State also announced earlier this year that its road opener at in-state rival Utah had been moved to Friday, Sept. 11, and will be televised live to a national audience on a network to be announced later.

During the 2014 season, Utah State had 11 nationally televised games on CBS Sports Network and the EPSN family of networks.

Utah State opens the 2015 season Thursday, Sept. 3, at home against Southern Utah and begins Mountain West play Saturday, Oct. 3, at home against Colorado State.
