Utah State Blue Light Honors University's 8th Carnegie Professor
The Utah State blue light atop Old Main will light the night sky Thursday, Nov. 29, to honor professor Lyle McNeal, the 2007 Carnegie Foundation for the Advancement of Teaching Utah Professor of the Year.
Utah State will host a celebration in honor of McNeal Thursday, Nov. 29, from 3-5 p.m. at the David B. Haight Alumni Center on the university campus. The event is free and everyone is invited.

McNeal is a professor in the department of animal, dairy and veterinary sciences in the College of Agriculture. USU is home to eight of the last 13 Carnegie Professors of the Year in Utah.
The Aggie Blue Pride Light sitting atop Old Main lights the Cache Valley night sky as a symbol of Aggie tradition, heritage and pride. McNeal is a part of this heritage that contributes to the quality of Utah State.
