Utah State Athletics Hosting Five Events during Homecoming Weekend

Utah State [University] Athletics hosts five different events this weekend as part of its annual Homecoming festivities.

Utah State’s volleyball team (6-8, 2-2 MW) will host Mountain West foes San José State (3-13, 0-3 MW) Thursday, Oct. 9, at 7 p.m. and Nevada (4-9, 1-2 MW) Saturday, Oct. 11, at 2 p.m. in the Wayne Estes Center.

Utah State’s soccer team (6-4-2, 2-1-1 MW) will host Mountain West foes San José State (3-6-3, 0-3-1 MW) on Friday, Oct. 10, at 3 p.m. and Fresno State (3-10-0, 2-2-0 MW) on Sunday, Oct. 11, at noon at Chuck and Gloria Bell Field. Admission to USU soccer matches is free.

And Utah State’s football team (3-2, 0-0 MW) hosts Air Force (4-1, 1-1 MW) Saturday, Oct. 11, at 8:15 p.m. in a game that will be televised nationally on ESPNU.

Along with its athletic events, there are several other Homecoming activities during the weekend, including a pep rally for the football team on campus at the Alumni House Friday, Oct. 10, at 7 p.m. USU’s annual Homecoming parade is Saturday, Oct. 11, on Main Street beginning at 10 a.m., followed by the Utah Agricultural Products BBQ at Craig Aston Park from 3-6 p.m. And finally, Aggie Fan Fest, presented by Maceys, begins in the USU football parking lots at 5 p.m., leading up to kickoff of USU's football game against Air Force.
