Utah Botanical Center Ready for a Pumpkinpalooza
Join the Utah Botanical Center and Utah State University Extension for a free celebration of pumpkins and Halloween fun Monday, October 23 from 6-8 p.m. at the Utah House, 920 S. 50 W., Kaysville.
There will be pumpkins to carve, a nighttime scavenger hunt, Halloween crafts, tasty seasonal snacks, recipes, and some special animal visitors. One pumpkin per family will be available – first come, first served. Guests take home the fun and leave the mess behind.
The evening begins with a special appearance from Chitters, a great horned owl from the Ogden Nature Center. The owl show begins at 6 p.m. Gayle Allen from The Rock Garden will also join the fun, introducing guests to several snakes.
