USU's HR Office Implements New Online Hiring System

The Human Resources Office at Utah State University implements a new online hiring system, JOBS, March 31.

The new JOBS website centralizes information, improves communication to applicants and search committees and expedites the job requisition-to-hire process, according to the HR office.

Noticeable improvements include the ability to:

  • Sign-on with an A# and strong password.  No more guest user accounts.
  • Create job requisitions from template options.
  • Initiate timely, customizable email communications with applicants and others involved in the job requisition-to-hire process.
  • Schedule interviews and attach notes within the system.
  • See a visual picture of where applicants are in the hiring process.
  • Reduce approval time by combining multiple processes into one.
  • Change the size and format options of uploaded documents.

JOBS website training is planned March 27 and March 31 from 3-4 p.m. at Merrill-Cazier Library, Room 154. Those interested can also view the training online via a live web simulcast on those dates and times.

Online training video segments will be available beginning March 30.

Those with questions should call the HR Help Desk, (435) 797-1810.
