USU Welcomes Students with Disabilities

As a public university, Utah State University welcomes individuals with disabilities to our campuses. We recognize the valuable contribution the disability community provides in creating a diverse culture. We embrace our responsibility to provide support and accommodations to all individuals on its campuses who have disabilities. Via the Disability Resource Center(DRC), the university facilities equal access to all university programs, services, and activities.

The DRC works with individuals, faculty, and staff to ensure that students with disabilities can fully participate in university programs, services, and activities. The center helps individuals with disabilities overcome barriers that could otherwise limit their academic, professional, and personal potential. These barriers may be architectural, attitudinal, or related to university programs. The DRC provides direct services and coordinates with other state agencies and university programs to ensure equal access.

The DRC coordinates services for any USU student at any location within the USU Statewide Campus system. All accommodations provided to on-campus students are available for online and regional campus students. The application process is the same. To access a variety of resources or accommodations, students can make an appointment with the DRC by calling 435-797-2444, emailing drc@usu.edu, or visiting the Center. In Logan, it is located on the ground floor of the University Inn, Suite 101. In Price, the DRC is in Room 223 of the Leavitt Student Center. Accessibility Consultants can meet with students via Zoom, phone call, or in person.
