USU Student Ceramics Guild Offers Annual Holiday Sale
The Utah State University Ceramics Guild offers its annual holiday sale Nov. 27 and 28 in the Taggart Student Center International Lounge, 8 a.m. to 9 p.m.
The annual holiday sale is one of several fundraising events conducted each year by the USU Student Ceramics Guild. The proceeds of the sale, as well as the fall chili bowl sale and the spring sale, help fund ceramics workshops at USU that bring a number of distinguished artists to Utah State from around the world.
The sale includes work by approximately 20 students and includes a broad selection of functional and decorative ceramic items. Sale organizers said there will be items available for every budget, with some pots priced as low as $8. Many mid-priced items will also be available.
Previous sales included bowls of every size and description, mugs, casseroles, vases, various pouring vessels, plates, planters, lanterns and more. USU’s woodfire pots will be well represented, as will pots from salt, soda and gas kilns.
