USU's Music Therapy Students in Concert

Utah State University’s Department of Music presents its concert “Muses” Nov. 7 at 7:30 p.m. in the Caine Performance Hall on USU’s Logan campus. The evening features the talents of students who study music therapy at USU.
“This concert highlights the diverse musical excellence of the USU music therapy students,” said Letha Winger, clinical instructor of music therapy in the Caine College of the Arts. “We chose the theme ‘muses’ as a nod to the mythological daughters of Zeus, who inspired others through the arts.”
The concert will feature multiple students in the music therapy program, ranging from freshmen to seniors.
“Through music performance and narration, the students will illuminate some of the ways music may be used in therapy,” Winger said. “Students will also show how music therapists are both the receivers and the givers of inspiration in their profession.”
