USU's Museum of Anthropology Invites All to "Celebrate Your Museum"
The Utah State University Museum of Anthropology joins hundreds of other museums across the state Saturday, Sept. 16, in offering special programs and extended hours during “Celebrate Your Museum Day.”
The Museum of Anthropology will be open from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sept. 16, and museum coordinator Sara Lundberg invites all USU students and members of the public to visit the museum during this time. Docents will be present giving tours on all exhibits at the museum. Light refreshments will be provided, and door prizes will be awarded to every 50th guest, she said.
The USU Museum of Anthropology is located on the Utah State University campus in the south turret of the historic Old Main building, room 252. Free parking will be available Saturday in the adjacent lot, immediately south of the building.
For more information on the event, call museum coordinator Lundberg at (435) 797-7545 or visit the museum Web site.
