USU Library Highlighted on Corporate Web Site

The Merrill-Cazier Library at Utah State University is receiving kudos from a number of sources. The public spaces are appreciated by everyone for the sense of space and natural light. The doors to the new library opened in September 2005, and an official dedication was held in spring of 2006.

New furnishings are a part of what adds to the ambiance and the just-out-of-the-showroom “new library smell.” The furniture was supplied by Herman Miller, Inc. The company is a leading global provider of office furniture and services that create great places to work.

 

Herman Miller, along with local Salt Lake City dealer Henriksen/Butler, worked closely with library staff, administrators and Jordy Guth, the university’s project architect. The firm is pleased with the relationship and the completion of the project — so pleased that it posted a case study on its Web site.
