USU Faculty Set to Meet at Three Day, E-Learning Workshop

Utah State University (USU) faculty statewide will meet at the Empowering Teaching Excellence (ETE) E-Learning Workshop to discuss the teaching tools and methodologies of online, broadcast, blended, and flipped instruction. The workshop runs from May 22 – 24.

“New ideas and insights always result when we get a dedicated group like this together,” said Neal Legler, director of the Center for Innovative Design and Instruction in Academic and Instructional Services. “We consistently get great feedback about our E-Learning Workshop. We are looking forward to this year’s and hope we can grow on our past success.”

The nature of USU as a land-grant university has allowed faculty to discover new, creative delivery methods for classroom instruction. The E-Learning Workshop looks to build on current practices, as well as discuss new tools and methodologies to provide high-quality course content and delivery.
