USU's Ceramics Guild Annual Spring Sale
It’s time to set the table for spring, and the Utah State University Ceramics Guild has the solution at its annual spring sale April 16-17 on the USU campus. Sale hours are 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. in the Taggart Student Center.
The sale provides a great way to complete a decorative spring update or find a perfect Mother’s Day gift, sale organizers said. Sale items include tableware, mugs, pitchers and serving bowls — multiple items to make that spring picnic more colorful.
All work in the sale is created by USU ceramic students, and proceeds benefit the ceramics guild to fund community events, as well as purchasing studio equipment and supporting other educational endeavors.
Sale organizers said there are items available for every budget, with some pots starting at $8. Mid-price items are abundant. Everything is handmade by USU ceramics students. USU’s woodfire pots will be well represented, as will pots from the salt, soda and gas kilns.
Although the sale is two days, organizers encourage everyone to come early for the best selection.
