USU Alum Takes Video Plunge in Mountain Dew Competition

Three years ago Utah State University graphic design student Patrick Romero created a video for an English class that, simply put, went viral. His “Why Men and Women Can’t Be Friends” had nine million views on YouTube.

Well, Patrick’s back at it and following his passion for making videos, this time for a Mountain Dew competition. This one features Patrick and his wife, Sarah, in what can only be described as an “extreme, record setting swing.”

Sarah wrote about the experience in a piece published in USU’s Hard News Café. She is a USU senior and will graduate this fall.

Read her “Video Evidence: Alums leap from hot-air balloons, set insane record” at the Hard News Café site and, for the fearless, check out Patrick’s video that was entered in the competition.
