University Drivers Must View Driver Training Video
Anyone who drives a university vehicle must watch a driver training video prior to operating that vehicle. Drivers must review the video at least every three years thereafter. Department heads or area supervisors have the training video available for your use. Those who do not have the video should contact Fleet Operations at 797-1955.
All employees or students who regularly operate university or personal vehicles as a designated part of their job must watch a driver training video prior to driving on university business. These drivers must watch the video annually thereafter. Again, department heads or supervisors have the training video available for your use.
Training must be documented on a "Driver's Representation Form" and kept on file with your department head or supervisor. The form can be printed from the Risk Management Web site at www.usu.edu/riskmgt/autopoli.html.
The Risk Management office reminds drivers there are several other driving requirements and regulations that apply to university drivers. For a list of the driver requirements and driving rules, see the Web site at http://www.usu.edu/riskmgt/.
