Turn Me On, Dead Man

The enduring debate over whether or not rock recordings contain intentionally reverse-recorded messages or “backmasking” is gathering momentum in the digital age. While advanced technology attracts curious listeners, Utah State University professor Don Sinex says embedding understandable backward speech messages in music is implausible.
