Trustee Member Sworn In

Three new members were welcomed to the Utah State University Board of Trustees during its regular meeting June 27. Two new members, appointed earlier by Gov. Mike Leavitt, are Richard Shipley and David Cook. The third member, Randy Watts, assumed a two-year appointment by virtue of his election as president of the university's alumni association.

New Trustee Richard L. Shipley took the oath of office at Utah State University’s Board of Trustee meeting Sept. 5. He was unavailable earlier when the other trustees took the oath. Mr. Shipley received the oath of office from Board of Trustees Chair Gayle McKeachnie.
