Toxin-Sniffing Robots

Utah State University engineering students took second place in a national technology contest for their robots that can sniff out dangerous toxins and possibly save lives. The small, mobile robots measure toxin levels and release neutralizing agents. Professor YangQuan Chen says the robots offer a safer alternative to sending a team of humans into harm’s way.
