To Conserve or Not to Conserve

The Bureau of Land Management has hired USU researchers to conduct a 30-month study analyzing the potential environmental impact of development near the Upper Las Vegas Wash in Las Vegas, Nevada. USU will help the agency determine whether or not the area could be safely developed or if it should be preserved because of prehistoric animal fossils in the area.
