Interested Utah State students, faculty and staff listened as President Hall presented information on the Tier II tuition increase. President Hall reminded the audience that Utah State is keeping its word to students made three years ago, and has only increased Tier II tuition by 15 percent during the last three years.

"Tier II funds are generated here on our campus and that is money that stays on our campus," said President Hall.

The $1.8 million in funds generated from the money will be used for hiring more faculty, hiring more academic advisors and counselors, adding more classes in bottleneck subjects and strengthening the libraries.
