Think ... The Possibilities, USU Major Fair

Utah State University is hosting its third annual Major Fair, Friday, Oct. 13, in the Taggart Student Center Sunburst and International Lounge from 10 a.m.-2 p.m.

“There are students who enter USU who know exactly what they want from college, from a career and from life,” said Sally Peterson, academic advisor for the College of Humanities, Arts and Social Sciences. “For those students who don’t know, the Major Fair is the perfect opportunity to explore options and make contact with departments from across campus.”

 

Students attending the fair will have the opportunity to meet with representatives from almost every department on campus, as well as representatives from Financial Aid, Housing, Study Abroad, Honors, the Academic Resource Center and SOAR.

 

Colleges and departments will be available for questions about admission requirements, minor programs, degree programs and possible career opportunities. If a student finds a major or minor that suits them, they are welcome to fill out a change of matriculation form, said Peterson.

 

Popcorn and soda will be served to attendees and students can submit a ticket in a raffle for an iPOD Shuffle.

 

The fair is co-sponsored by University Advising and Transfer Services and Admissions.
