The Magic of Music

USU music professor Michael Ballam says music can provide more than entertainment and has miraculous powers if it is used correctly. Music from the Baroque and Classical periods, which includes variations and patterns, causes the brain to respond in special ways. Music written today often includes repetitive beats which don’t stimulate the brain.
