The Aggie Passport Experience
Utah State University freshmen and other students are encouraged to sign up for the Aggie Passport Experience and become involved in campus activities.
“The Aggie Passport Experience” has been announced for the upcoming 2015-16 academic year.
Now in its eighth year, the program is designed to encourage incoming freshmen and other Utah State University students to actively engage in the many exceptional co-curricular opportunities provided by the various departments and offices on campus, as well as by all eight colleges.
Students attending Aggie Passport sponsored events receive stamps that verify their participation in the program. Students who attend eight passport events throughout the year will be rewarded with a $15 Dining Services credit on their Aggie Express account. Students who attend 12 passport events will receive an additional $15 credit and, finally, students who attend 16 events will be invited to a special reception dinner with the President and Mrs. Albrecht in their home at the end of the academic year.
Students can learn more online to see a calendar of eligible events.
Colleges, departments and other offices on campus are also strongly encouraged to submit a list of sponsored events to be added to the Aggie Passport calendar. Sponsoring a Passport-eligible event is an excellent way to increase student involvement in appropriate co-curricular experiences.
The program seeks to help students develop an increased awareness of involvement opportunities on campus, broaden their engagement in academic and co-curricular experiences and become active contributors to the spirit of our university community.
Passport Event Submission Guidelines
- Qualifying events must be held between Aug. 31, 2015, and April 8, 2016.
- Event organizers must work to ensure that a space within the event venue can be reasonably used for stamping passports. The space must have a high degree of visibility and be accessible to attendees 20-30 minutes before the start of the event.
- Event details must be finalized and submitted to the Passport website for review two weeks in advance. Not all events qualify for inclusion in the program.
- Large batches of events can be submitted via spreadsheet
