That's 'WDM,' Not 'WMD'

Humans can't control wild animals, says USU wildlife ecologist Robert Schmidt. He uses the term 'wildlife damage management’ or ‘WDM’ to describe the preferred means of protecting wildlife from humans and humans from wildlife. With growing development, our boundaries are increasingly overlapping and conflicts occur, he says.
