Tame the Garage Monster

With yard work on hold, winter is the perfect time to organize your garage, says Utah State University professor Richard Beard. Start by cleaning out unnecessary junk and returning borrowed items to their owners. Install hooks, hangers, shelves and other storage systems to move items from the garage floor to space-saving wall and ceiling areas.
