Students Have Rights, Too
One of the biggest misconceptions students have about sexual harassment on campus is that they can’t do anything about it, says USU official Dave Ottley. “We want to help students understand their rights,” he says. For more information, contact Dave Ottley, co-director, Affirmative Action/Equal Opportunity Office, Utah State University, 435-797-1266. Ottley discusses campus AA/EO resources and the 2006 American Association of University Women Educational Foundation survey, “Drawing the Line: Sexual Harassment on Campus,” on Wednesday, April 12, at 2:30 p.m. in the TSC Auditorium during national Sexual Assault Awareness Month.
