Stan Albrecht and Sen Bob Bennett Attend Diversified Agriculture Conference

Utah State University President Stan Albrecht and those attending the Diversified Agriculture Conference sponsored by University Extension welcomed Utah Sen. Bob Bennett to the three-day event. Sen. Bennett spoke, addressing agricultural policy issues. Also speaking was John Ikered, a national expert and author on farm resource management.

According to Ruby Ward, Utah State University Extension agribusiness specialist, Ikered has an extensive background in sustainable agriculture. He presented innovative ideas on why there will be a place for the family farm in the future.

A number of topics were explored during the conference that was held in Brigham City at the Utah State University Extension Center.
