Slash Your Grocery Bill

Buying sale items in bulk, avoiding convenience foods and comparison shopping are ways to reduce your grocery bill, says USU Extension agent Adrie Roberts. Eat before you shop and shop alone, if possible, to resist impulse buying. Plan meals in advance according to grocery store ad specials and accept surplus fruits and vegetables from your neighbors' gardens.
