Screening of 'A River Between Us,' and Discussion set for Tuesday

The 2016 Spring Runoff Conference will feature a special screening of the film A River Between Us April 5, at 6:30 p.m.

The film focuses on Klamath River restoration and the conflicts that have arisen as a result.

Following the screening, filmmaker Jason Atkinson will be in attendance to answer questions and lead discussion. The film chronicles the process of rancor and compromise.

“If you heal people, they would heal the river,” Atkinson has said.

The viewing takes place at the USU’s Eccles Conference Center Auditorium, and is free and open to the public.

Utah State University’s Spring Runoff Conference is a two-day conference April 5-6. The conference brings together researchers, scientists and top experts in Utah and Intermountain West to discuss water issues. This year’s conference will be held at the Eccles Conference Center on USU’s Logan campus. See the conference website for more information about how to participate.
