SAVE THE DATE: Utah Gubernatorial Debate Coming to USU Sept. 26

Utah State University will host the Utah gubernatorial debate Monday, Sept. 26.

The debate is scheduled to take place at 6 p.m. in the Caine Performance Hall on USU’s Logan campus.

The televised debate will feature both the Democratic nominee, Mike Weinholtz, and the Republican nominee, incumbent Gov. Gary Herbert.

USU was one of seven universities and colleges across Utah to be selected by the Utah Debate Commission to host a debate prior to the Nov. 8 election.

Students and community members are welcome to attend. Doors will open at 5:15 p.m., and there will be no admission after 5:45 p.m. The Utah Debate Commission has requested that there be no children under the age of 10.

Those wishing to attend are encouraged to reserve their tickets in advance. Tickets can be requested online.
