Save the Date: USU Wind Orchestra Presents April 24 Concert
The Utah State University Wind Orchestra at a March 2014 performance at the College Band Directors National Association Divisional Conference in Reno, Nev.
The Utah State University Wind Orchestra, under the conductorship of Thomas P. Rohrer, director of bands, performs its annual spring concert Friday, April 24, at 7:30 p.m. in the Chase Fine Arts Center’s Kent Concert Hall on the USU Logan campus.
The concert is entitled “Blue Fever” after the concerto of the same name, “Blue Fever, No Prescription: Double Concerto for Two Percussionists and Symphonic Wind Ensemble” composed by Rohrer.
The annual event concludes the concert season for the USU Bands, including the fall and spring Wind Orchestra performances, fall and spring Symphonic Bands concerts and the Basketball Pep Band and Aggie Marching Band’s multiple performance outings.
The spring concert is free and open to the public.
